Businesswise Solutions is celebrating an awards double, further cementing our expert consultancy services.
We beat off stiff competition to receive a prestigious regional award in front of over 1,000 leading business figures from across the North West, before learning we had been shortlisted for four national industry awards.
First we collected the Professional Services Award at the North West Business Insider Property Awards.
Days later, we learned we had been shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year, Best Customer Service, The Consultant of Tomorrow and Energy Management Champion in the TELCAs; prestigious awards honouring the best consultants and brokers in the UK.
The Property Awards is one of the must-attend events in the North West business calendar, selling out months in advance of the shortlist being announced. The Professional Services award recognises the significant contributions companies have made to property developments in terms of planning, design, deliverability and control of costs.
Other shortlisted organisations were Euan Kellie Property Solutions, OBI Property, Deloitte Real Estate, Turner & Townsend and Indigo Planning. The award judges were impressed that in a difficult year in the property industry, Businesswise celebrated their fifth year of year on year growth, took on a range of new clients and had a 100% retention rate amongst existing fully managed clients.
In 2016, Businesswise added a host of new services to its portfolio enabling us to help clients drive down costs and manage spend. We launched UTILITYi, a bespoke online portal instrumental in driving down costs and created new energy audit and water procurement divisions.
Significant client wins included AO.com and Hotter Shoes plus a host of clients in the property sector and we welcomed property entrepreneur Brendan Flood on board as non-executive director.
“It’s a huge achievement to receive this award and be shortlisted in four national award categories which emcompass everything we do,” said Businesswise Solutions managing director, Frazer Durris.
“We are innovators within our industry, and these awards are testament to the skills and commitment of the strong team we have put together. Our property client base is growing and we’re continuing to provide developers and managing agents with significant cost savings and solutions.
“2016 was a big year for us with the opening of our Manchester office, significant strengthening of our team and making big savings for clients through a range of innovative initiatives including £3.3m of savings in the client gas buying group, £1m rebates for high energy manufacturers through the Energy Intensive Industries scheme and energy savings of £1m through our handling of a £15 million Chamber portfolio.
“2017 has continued in the same vein and we have a number of exciting projects that we will announce over the coming months.
“We are a forward-thinking organisation which recognises the importance of working with strategic partners to grow our client base and market share and maintain our position as a market leader in utility management and these awards are a fantastic recognition of that.”
