It’s official: Our managing director, Frazer Durris, is Pendle’s Business Person of the Year.
He claimed the prestigious accolade at the bi-annual Pendle Business Awards, where the company was also highly commended as Business of the Year.
The award comes at the perfect time, celebrating the company’s move to new, purpose-fit premises and commitment to a long future within Pendle.
“It is amazing to win this title; it’s been an incredible year for the business. We have disrupted a crowded and established sector, competing against global and PLC companies to become a major player in the energy industry.”
What started as a business of two in 2010, is now 38, with ambitious plans to reach a workforce of 60 this year.
Our portfolio has increased exponentially in the last few years as clients lean on us to deliver an aggregated package of energy procurement, management and services, wrapped in excellent account management and customer service.
The last 12 months have seen us break in to Europe, in particular doing business in the Irish and German markets, with ambitious European growth plans in the pipeline.
As we look towards a bright future, we continue to explore new technologies and trends entering the market through our new energy innovation centre.
Internally, we will continue to bolster our team with talented energy specialists and local talent hungry to learn and grow with the business.
Our new energy centre will not only help businesses to explore low carbon management options, but will also become an educational centre for schools and higher education facilities in the North West.
“It has been an honour to lead a fantastic team in this growth period and I want to say a huge thank you to each and every member of our team.
“As we settle in to our new premises, we all look forward to our next exciting chapter of growth.”
