Energy Centre visit for Colne pupils

TODAY we welcomed pupils from Colne Primet Academy to our Energy Centre, giving them a good insight into the world of energy and the potential job opportunities out there.
Eight Year 7 and 8 pupils attended the interactive session led by Head of Marketing, Paul Scarborough and were well armed with some educated questions!
Paul said: “The flow of the Energy Centre enables us to guide the pupils along the journey of energy; from where it began, where we are now and what we can expect for the future.
“Technology will play a large part in the future of the sector and we have, right here, a generation completely at ease with systems and data.
“There are a huge number of opportunities for them within the sector and perhaps right here on their doorsteps as Businesswise continues to grow.
“I was very impressed by the level of knowledge they had, they had obviously done their research!
“We hope that today has given them food for thought and we hope to see some of them back as apprentices or graduates in coming years.”
