The Last Triad Results Announced
Triad season started on the 1 November and ended on the 28 February, which means the triad period has come to an end and the results for 2022/2023 are in. This was the last year to implement triad avoidance strategies, as from April 2023, the Targeted Charging Review (TCR) is implemented in full. This infographic explains how triad periods are decided and announces the final periods.

Triad periods for 2022/2023 announced:
2nd December 2022, 18:00 pm – 39,573 MW
15th December 2022, 17:30 pm – 44,561 MW
17th January 2023, 17:30 pm – 42,022 MW
Between the months of April and June, customers will see reconciliations reflected on their invoices. These reconciliations will either result in a credit or an additional charge on their bill. If businesses were able to avoid the Triad periods over the course of the winter period then they will probably see a credit on invoices, however, if they did not take action or were unable to avoid the warning periods then they will probably see an additional charge on their reconciled invoice.
